Mike Molineux

Mike Molineux, age 57, of Norwood and formerly of Darby, passed away Saturday, February 24, 2018 at Taylor Hospice House.

Born and raised in Darby, he was the son of the late Henry and Betty (nee Haggerty) Molineux.

Mike was a graduate of West Catholic High School, Class of 1978. He earned an Associates Degree from Delaware County Community College. He served in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Frank Cable. He worked at the Philadelphia Naval Shipyard and Boeing.

Mike was an avid Eagles fan who saw his lifetime dream of a Super Bowl win come true.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Beth (nee Caulfield), and his children, Michael, Merissa, and Kevin (Lexi) Molineux. He is also survived by his grandsons, Michael and Ryan Sullivan; brothers, Donald (Ellen), Gary (Barbara), and Billy (Olga) Molineux; motherin-law, Frances Caulfield; and many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Funeral Mass 10:30 a.m. Friday at Blessed Virgin Mary Church, 1101 Main Street, Darby. There will be a Viewing 7-9 p.m. Thursday and 9:15-10:15 Friday morning at Marvil Funeral Home, 1101 Main Street, Darby.

Burial will be at SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
