role as the sixth man, which he handled quite well before he was intersted into the starting linup when Booth got hurt. The Wildcats have to win out and have Xavier lose one of its final two games to grab a share of their fifth straight Big East title. Barring that, Villanova will be the No. 2 seed when the Big East tourament starts next Wednesday. The Wildcats have won four in a row against the Pirates and are 9-3 against Seton Hall since the Big East was reconfigured after the 2012-13 season. The Wildcats are 6-2 at the Prudential Center and that includes a victory over Notre Dame last season.

A look at Seton Hall:

The Pirates have won three in a row to snap a fourgame losing streak that began with the loss to the Wildcats Feb. 4. Seton Hall is in a four-way tie for third place with Creighton, Butler and Providence. The Pirates swept Providence, split with Creighton and won the first meeting with Butler and close out the regularseason with the Bulldogs Saturday at home so there’s still a lot at stake. This was a team that was ranked as high as 13th earlier in the season. Rodriguez has been a thorn in Villanova’s side. The senior swingman is averaging close to 15 points in the last four games against the Wildcats.
