Susan A. Hill

Susan A. Hill, 69, of Temple, passed away February 24, 2018 in Tower Health / Reading Hospital.

She was predeceased by her husband, Richard F. Hill, whom she married on May 27, 1972.

Born on June 15, 1948 in Bryn Mawr, she was a daughter of the late John J. and S. Jane (Riegner) Aucker.

Susan was a 1966 graduate of Radnor High School. After high school, Susan was employed as a secretary at PennDot, which is where she met Richard. Upon the birth of her first child, Susan became a homemaker.

Susan and Richard were strong believers in giving back and regularly volunteered at and donated to St. Francis Inn

Ministries, a soup kitchen in Philadelphia. She attended Holy Guardian Angels Roman Catholic Church, Hyde Park.

Susan is survived by her three children: Jennifer, wife of Jeffrey Citara, Exton; Gregory Hill, Temple; and David, husband of Alana (Kolb) Hill of Norwich, CT. Also surviving are her sister, Sandra (Aucker) Roan of Ardmore; and two grandchildren: Chase and Rhiley Citara. Services will be private. Burial will be in SS Peter & Springfield.
