Thomas “Tom” F. Drummond, Sr., age 80, longtime resident of Eddystone, passed away on February 28, 2018 at Riddle Memorial Hospital surrounded by his family.

He was raised in Chester and was a 1957 graduate of St. James High School.

Tom worked for Kimberly Clark in their materials division, retiring in 1994 after 35 years of service. He was a member of the Moyamensin­g Fire Company in Chester and a longtime member of the Eddystone Fire Co. and the Delaware County Fire Police. Tom was a 4th degree Knight in the Knights of Columbus Council # 4271 - St. Joseph, Marcus Hook and a member of St. Rose of Lima Church where he was an usher. He loved working with children at such places as the Family Center in Eddystone and the Eddystone Boys Club and played Santa Claus at campground­s in New Jersey. He enjoyed going to the Jersey Shore, the casinos, socializin­g with people, and was an avid bowler. Tom loved his grandchild­ren more than anything.

He was the son of the late Noah and Addie Drummond, Sr. and was also preceded in death by a brother and sister.

Survivors: his loving wife of 60 years: Nancy (Sterling) Drummond; sons: Thomas Jr. and R. Craig Sr.; grandsons: Robert, Tommy, Ryan, and Devon; great grandson: L.J.; great granddaugh­ter: Aaliyah; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation: Tuesday from 9:00-9:45 am at St. Rose of Lima Church, 1901 Chester Pike, Eddystone, PA.

Funeral Mass: Tuesday at 10:00 am at St. Rose of Lima Church. Burial: Private. In Lieu of Flowers: Donations may be made to the Eddystone Fire Co., 1112 East 7th St., Eddystone, PA 19022.
