The hunt for

To the Times: Another mass murder at a school. Another cry to do something but very few workable effective solutions. This time the kids, and they are kids, are becoming active and demanding change. Let’s hope they stay active and vote.

Some workable solutions: better background checks. We need to require all entities to enter prohibited persons, mental health issues, people with protective orders, felons, etc. Many of these people do not make it into the background system. Age limits on semiauto rifles. Well 18-, 19and 20-year-olds serve in our military and die for us. Sixteen-year-olds drive tons of lethal cars. Is age a solution? I think not.
