I’d like to thank the Prospect Park Police Department. I fell down on the floor and I couldn’t get up, so I dialed 911 and asked for assistance from the police. They came over and they helped me out. It was very nice and I appreciate their help. Thank you again.
THERE IS A FREE LUNCH
My wife and I went to an early dinner at the Erin Pub in Norwood on Saturday and when we were done the waitress said the meal is paid for. I told her I thought she kidding, but it was paid for by a couple who were sitting next to us who were no longer there. I just want to say thank you. They were so kind to do that; we were absolutely stunned. I hope they get a chance to see this and know what we’re very grateful and appreciate their kindness.
AN EGG-CEPTIONAL DAY
I’d like to give a shout out and thank Chris from St. George’s Parish in Glenolden for a wonderful Easter egg hunt. The kids all had a great time and everybody worked so hard. Thank you again.
AIN’T NO ‘LADY’
I just saw the movie “Lady Bird” and it’s absolutely filthy and disgusting and anti-Catholic, with terrible language against good nuns who taught many of us in Catholic schools. I cannot believe Hollywood made this piece of filth and I urge everybody not to see it. Thank you.
SHRED IT
I’m just wondering if Trainer will join other boroughs and townships and have a shredding truck come to Johnson Park and help the seniors get rid of some old papers that they need to have shredded. I am a resident of Trainer and would appreciate that help.
THE IRS IS COMING (NOT)
We are getting scammed and elderly people will not understand it. It says that the police are coming to your house from the IRS. I myself traced the number to New York and had a big blow out. So I really wish you would print this for people that are going to pick up the phone and get a call saying the police are on their way from the IRS.
WHERE IS THE PARROT?
There used to be a parrot in the Bazaar of All Nations that would say good morning. My kids really loved it. I don’t know where he is now or how he is doing.
MARCH OF SHAME
I completely agree with “Priorities” on having all the homeless veterans show up to lead Trump’s military parade. A lot could be done to help all homeless veterans with that $30 million he wants for this parade.
THERE GOES THE MARKET
The stock market was soaring under President Obama. When Trump took office, the stock market was still in great shape as long as he didn’t do anything. As soon as Trump starts enacting his idiotic so-called economic policies, now the market is tanking. This is more proof that Trump is totally inept, incompetent and unqualified. And also, I don’t hear loudmouth “Trump 2020” bragging about how great the market is doing under Trump.
CALLING DAVID DENNISON
Now with all the legal documents from Stormy Daniels situation coming out, how many people are going to start checking into hotels and ordering pizzas under “David Dennison.” I used “Barry Soetoro” for all eight years of Obama, though – that name had a nice ring to it. I don’t know why Obama didn’t stick with it.
HECK OF A JOB, JIMMY
I’ve got to agree with this caller that Jim Comey is an honorable man, and he’s one of the most honorable to ever be in D.C. That guy he did a great investigation on 33,000 emails, four destroyed laptops and three destroyed Blackberries and only took him two weeks to decide there was nothing out of place and nothing wrong. I say Comey for president as soon as you get rid of Trump.
