PROVIDENCE ANIMAL CENTER PET OF THE WEEK: KING
11-year-old male Domestic Shorthair Say hello to King, the handsome, kind-hearted homeless cat who is looking for his forever home with a great family. King has medium-length hair and alluring-green eyes. King could be cat-friendly and best with older kids. He is neutered, microchipped and up-to-date on vaccinations. Thanks to an awesome donor, King has a sponsored adoption fee, which means he is free to a super loving home. King’s other cat friends like him, have the always-low adoption fee of $25. When you adopt a cat like King, you have the opportunity to adopt a second at no fee. Hours for adoption are Monday-Friday from Noon-7 p.m., Saturday from 11 a.m.-6 p.m., and Sunday from Noon-5 p.m.
AFL PET OF THE WEEK: FIONA
This gorgeous love bug will repay you tenfold for your kindness and love. Rescued from the streets with her kittens, Fiona is about four years old and was a great mom. All five kittens were adopted to good homes, leaving their beautiful mommy to wait patiently for hers. Fiona is extremely affectionate with people, but she doesn’t care so much for other animals since she had to protect her babies from them outdoors. She would prefer to be a one-andonly pet and would be ideal for a mature owner; she’s such a sweet kitty and is truly devoted to her companion person. Fiona is on a special thyroid diet but doing well, up-to-date on her vet care and is spayed. Please visit www. animalfriendsoflansdowne.com.
FRANCISVALE PET OF THE WEEK: SPEEDY
This eleven month old, happy-go-lucky German Shepherd puppy is only about as cute as they come and will be just the ticket for a lifelong partner in fun. Speedy will zoom right into your heart with his sweet, playful puppy self, and his big heart that simply love, loves everyone! This guy is making strides in the good manners department but, as still a pup, would benefit from some continuing education in the school of doggie learning. You will enjoy Speedy’s company by your side during the long walks to come as we greet the fine spring and summer weather that is just around the corner.
