Neumann student, GVHS grad, receives Broadcast Pioneer scholarship
ASTON » Andrea Roe, a Communication and Digital Media major at Neumann University, has been selected to receive a $1,000 scholarship from the Broadcast Pioneers of Philadelphia. She is one of only 20 college students in the Delaware Valley chosen for the 2018 Broadcast Pioneers awards.

To qualify, students must be studying radio, TV, film production or associated fields and have a cumulative or higher.
A resident of Glen Mills and graduate of Garnet Valley High School, Roe is executive producer of the Neumann Update (the university’s weekly news show), a Neumann Navigator who provides campus tours for the Admissions Office, and clubs coordinator for the Student Government Association.
“I feel honored and blessed to have been awarded such a prestigious scholarship,” said Roe, “and will continue to passionately further my education in the field of broadcast communication.” GPA of 3.0
