Robert Carl Singley, Sr., age 88, of Brookhaven, PA, died at home surrounded by his family on Friday, April 13, 2018.

Bob was a graduate of Chester High School, Class of 1947. He was a US Army Veteran, serving in the 101st Airborne.

Bob was employed with Scott Paper for 37 years, retiring in 1991.

Mr. Singley was an active member of Upland Baptist Church, where he was a Moderator and involved in the Baptist Men’s Club. Bob was a member of the Gideons, and the American Baptist Relief Group, where he went on missionary trips to Hati and Central American to assist those in need. Bob was a Chaplain with the American Legion Post #926, Aston, PA.

Brother of the late James and David Singley.

Survivors: Loving Wife of 65 years: Betty Parris Singley. Son: Robert C. (Missy) Singley, Jr. Granddaughter: Stephanie (Phil) Morelli. 2 GreatGrandchildren: Angelo and Stella. Brother: Hal Singley. Sister: Eleanor Pritchard.

Funeral Service: Wednesday, April 18th at 11:00AM at Upland Baptist Church, 325 Main Street, Upland, PA, 19015. Interment: Private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: Upland Baptist Church at the above address.
