Charles W. “Charlie” Barlow, age 48, died on April 16, 2018 at Riddle Memorial Hospital.

Charlie was born and raised in Chester and attended 9th grade at St. James High School. His family moved to Chichester where Charlie graduated from Chichester High School in 1987.

Charlie was employed at Coopers & Lybrand in Philadelph­ia while he was attending Widener University. Charlie loved to snow ski, water ski, ice skate and was a national roller skating champion as a teenager. In June of 1989, Charlie was involved in an automobile accident, causing him severe brain injury and altering his life forever. Throughout this time, Charlie was cared for by his family and a team of nurses, aides and therapists with complete love and devotion for almost 30 years at his home. The Barlows are thankful for their tireless support and consider all of them part of the family.

Charlie is predecease­d by his parents John & Peggy (Innis) Barlow Sr.

Survivors: His Sisters Nancy Dexter (John), Bobbie Hamilton (Ed) and his brother John Barlow Jr. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation: Friday from 1-2:15pm at the Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, 5980 Chichester Ave., Aston.

Funeral Service: Friday at 2:30pm at the funeral home.

Burial: Friday at Lawn Croft Cemetery Linwood.
