Donna M. Burr (nee Ward)

Donna M. Burr (nee Ward), 62, a resident of Norwood, has taken a trip to heaven on April 17, 2018.

She and her husband took many children into their home as foster parents and as day care providers. She opened her heart and treated them as their own.

She loved collecting depression glass and nutcrackers. She also enjoyed crocheting, making jewelry, playing online bingo, and traveling.

She was predeceased by her father Francis T. Ward, her mother Dorothy T. Ward, and her sister Jody Agustin.

Donna is survived by her beloved husband of 37 years Charles; her children, Deanna Evans (Tony) of Eddystone, William Burr of Eddystone, Day Day Robinson of Lubbock, TX, and Paul Howard of Norwood; her siblings, Michael Ward and Teresa Ward both of Norwood, and Kevin (Dee Dee) Ward of Montana; her grandchildren, AJ, Leilani, Delaney, and Ryan; and many nieces and nephews.

Her Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, April 24th, at 7:30 P.M. at the Griffith Funeral Chapel, 520 Chester Pike, in Norwood, Pa. 19074.

There will be a visitation time on Tuesday from 6:30 P.M. to 7:30 P.M. at the funeral home.

Her burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, contributions made in Donna’s memory to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by her family.
