Frances T. “Fran” Freeberry

Frances T. “Fran” Freeberry (nee DeLorenzo) age 72, died April 25th, 2018 at her home. She passed peacefully surrounded by her loving and devoted family.

Raised in Holmes, PA, Fran graduated from Ridley High School class of 1963. She moved to Norwood where she raised her family and resided until 2008 when she moved to Garnet Valley.

Fran worked as an administrative assistant at Interboro High School for many years during which time she attended Widener University graduating in 1998.

Fran was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister who received the most joy from the time she spent with family and friends. Fran was known for her kind hearted and selfless personality and a friend and mentor who touched many lives.

Fran loved her summers in Brigantine Beach, NJ and enjoyed many memorable vacations with her husband, children, and grandchildren. Fran loved all animals especially her family pets. She loved being at home and enjoyed watching all Philadelphia sports and her favorite game shows Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy. She was a priceless treasure who will be deeply missed.

Fran is predeceased by her parents Joseph & Anne Burt DeLorenzo, her siblings Rita McDemus, Julia Kelly, and Theresa DeLorenzo.

Survivors: Her husband of 51 years Raymond Freeberry, daughters Jeannine Hipp (Richard), and Carolyn Gardener (Douglas). Siblings Jane Saul, Marie Pernicello, Anna McKeown, Joseph “Buddy” DeLorenzo, and Susan Temple Bender. Fran is also survived by her beloved grandchildren Julia, Douglas, Alexa, Nina, and Mia.

Visitation: Monday from 10-11:15am at the Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, 5980 Chichester Ave. Aston.

Funeral Service: Monday at 11:30am at the funeral home.

Burial: Valley Gardens.
