Joseph M. Pastuszek Jr., 75, of Wallingfor­d died April 25, 2018 at his home.

Born and raised in Chester, he was the beloved son of Mary Salanik Pastuszek, and the late Joseph, Sr. and Jenny Kahuy Pastuszek.

Joe attended Chester High School and was a graduate of Nether Providence High School, class of 1961. He was the Co-Owner of Joe’s Building & Plumbing Supplies, a company that was built in 1948 and originally owned by his father, Joseph Pastuszek, Sr. Joe has worked there his entire life since the age of 8 years old. After graduation, he took over the management of the hardware department. Joe enjoyed working side by side every day with his brother, Robert, who manages the lumber yard. But this family man was proudest when he was able to work with his children and grandchild­ren. Since his retirement in 2014, his son, Joe, continues managing the hardware department. Through the years, Joe was fortunate to work with many family members.

He was a member of the Church of St. Madeline and enjoyed playing pinochle with both of his brothers. Joe’s favorite hobby was spending time in Atlantic City and lately Harrah’s in Chester winning at the slots in the casino.

He was predecease­d by his sister, Josephine Donahue. Roger is survived by his wife of 54 years, Marcie Pastuszek; his five children, Katherine Atkins (Brian), Jean Marie McGough (Jerry), Jennifer Buchanan, Margaret Magasich and Joseph W. Pastuszek (Kat); his ten grandchild­ren, David, Zachariah, Cody, Ashley, Amber, Brianna, Jacob, Mackenzie, Kelly and Joseph; and his siblings, Dorina Maggiori, Steve Beno (Sharon), Mary Anjeski, Thomas Pastuszek (Cathy), Robert Pastuszek (Marielena) and Christine Faul (Bill).

Visitation: 7:00-9:00 PM Monday, April 30, 2018 at the White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Ave., Ridley Park, PA 19078 and 9:00-10:00 AM Tuesday at church.

Funeral Mass: 10:30 AM Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at the Church of St. Madeline, 400 Morton Ave., Ridley Park, PA 19078. Burial: Private
