Play golf, help SSD students
SPRINGFIELD » The Springfield Area Educational Foundation and SHS Alumni hold their annual Golf Tournament and Awards Dinner at the Rolling Green Golf Club on Monday, June 11. Registration begins at 11 am. The tournament benefits educational programs for all students in the Springfield School District.
Several Springfield staff members and coaches are planning to play in the 2018 tournament. This year’s tournament features its traditional helicopter golf ball drop circling the golf club. SAEF invites all alumni and supporters to Rolling Green Golf Club to see old friends, meet new ones and join SHS classmates for an afternoon of golf, food and memories.
Tax deductible registration fees are $275 per golfer; $50 for awards presentation dinner only. Please contact or submit registration by May 21 to Golf Event Chair Steve Todaro at cuonthetee@aol.com or by phone to John Falcone at 610-328-6914. The field is limited to 120 golfers. Currently, range, hole and other sponsorship opportunities are available.
The Springfield Area Educational Foundation’s mission is to enrich the 3 A’s (academic, artistic and athletic experiences) of all Springfield School District students. In 2005, the SSD established SAEF to provide educational opportunities for students who attend public schools in the Springfield and Morton communities.
