Joseph G. Binck

Joseph G. Binck, age 79, of Lansdowne, passed away on May 10, 2018, surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Philadelphia, Joseph was the son of the late George and Margaret Binck (nee Hanrahan). Joseph is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Catherine “Cass” (nee Oliveri), his loving children Eileen Mergliano and Jennifer Alkins (Marco), and his grandchildren Sarah Mergliano, James Mergliano, Chloe Alkins, and Ava Alkins. He is also survived by his sister Margaret “Sissy” Mansfield, Theresa “Tess” Bianco, Harry Binck (Terry). He was predeceased by his brother George Binck (Jul). He was a loving uncle to his many nieces and nephews.

Joe was an alumni of John Bartram High School, Class of 1957. He worked at Boeing for over 30 years, and was a former member of the Lansdowne Lions Club. He enjoyed playing golf with his friends, watching old cowboy movies, date nights with his wife, Cass, every Saturday night, and most importantly, being a loving family man and friend to all.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Visitation from 9:30 am to10:30 am followed by a Mass on Tuesday, May 15th, 2018, at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 3422 Dennison Ave. Drexel Hill PA 19026. Interment at SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery, 1600 S Sproul Rd. Springfield PA 19064.
