Anthony J. “Tony” Casadei, 79, a longtime resident of Clifton Heights, passed away peacefully on May 13, 2018.

Mr. Casadei was born in South Philadelph­ia to the late Louis and Mary Casadei. He was a graduate of Bishop Neumann High School and served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.

Tony was a member of the Springfiel­d American Legion Post 227, the Columbus Italian American Associatio­n. He was a charter member of the Clifton Heights Lions Club, board member of Delcora and longtime Clifton Heights Borough Councilman and President of Council.

His greatest joy were grandchild­ren.

He is survived wife of 53 years his

by his Madeline (nee Cordasco) Casadei; children, Anthony Casadei, Louis Casadei and Fred (Colleen) Casadei; grandchild­ren, Lindsay, John, Camryn, Joe, Nicole, Matt and Grace.

Visitation: Thursday 7:00 - 9:00 pm and Friday 9:00 am at Williams Lombardo Funeral Home 33 W. Baltimore Ave. Clifton Hts.

Funeral Mass: Friday 10:30 am at St. Eugene Church 200 S. Oak Ave. Primos.

Interment: SS. Paul Cemetery
