Dennis M. Savage

Dennis M. Savage, 75, of Clifton Heights, PA passed peacefully on May 17, 2018 at Coatesville VA Hospice surrounded by his two sons.

He last resided at the Residences at Chestnut Ridge in Chester, PA.

Dennis had a special fondness for dogs and was an incredibly proud PopPop of all his grandchildren.

Dennis spent his early years serving in the US Army. He made a living as a skilled craftsmen for the Local 465 Carpenters Union, Chester County. Dennis enjoyed several years of his retirement in Millsboro, Delaware with his devoted wife, Kay and his dog, Barcley.

Dennis’ hobbies included playing golf and bowling; he was an avid car enthusiast.

He is predeceased by his wife, Kay; his son, Billy; his grandson, Michael; his parents Russell and Katherine, and his brother Russell Jr.

Dennis is survived by his sons Michael (Laurie) and Stephen (Laura); his grandchildren, Mia, Megan, Dan, Caitlin, and Luke; also his granddog, Hank. Dennis also left behind his three older siblings, loving in-laws, and a multitude of nieces and nephews.

There will be a visitation on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at 9:30 am, followed by his Funeral Mass at 10:30 am at Holy Cross Church, Springfield, PA. Burial will be private.
