Here we go again in Upper Darby – a school tax raise of 3.4 percent is ridiculous. That is why they have pushed residents out of Upper Darby and Delaware County into the Chester County and other surrounding counties. A $209 million budget for the Upper Darby School Board so they can pay their superintendent and everybody else high wages without results. They spent $80,000 last year analyzing the GPS systems in their buses and decided “let’s not do it until another year.” Typical Upper Darby politics – unbelievable. GET IT RIGHT, UD

To “We’ll Drink To That,” don’t knock people trying to solve the world’s problems with fellow patrons at last call. A few times I was almost there, but the next day when I looked at my notes on a cocktail napkin they were incomprehensible. One of these days I’m going to get all the pieces in place, and it will be a great day for all the world.

We live in the weakest generation that ever survived. I have lived in the past, seen the past of our forefathers and what they’ve done for our country. We were strong, strong people. But now this generation of today is very weak – on drugs, on alcohol, they’re led astray by anybody. It’s a horrible situation this great, great country is in. I love America and I love everything about it, but it’s a weak, useless lazy generation that we got today.

I agree with the caller that Donald Trump and this cronies should be all impeached. They have done nothing for nobody except for the rich. And also it’s true about the rich Republicans and their greed buying up all the land to develop nothing but money, money, money, money. The Republicans have destroyed this country and destroyed the good hard-working people and the poor people of this nation.

“Dollars And Sense” should clarify – Democrats in elected office and high positions in the DNC can’t handle other people’s money. The ones in Hollywood, New York, D.C., and wealthy suburbs across the nation seem to be able to handle their own fairly well.

That caller was right about the greedy Republicans buying up all the land and making developments with the big, rich money that they all have. I bet you none of these big real estate people and developers in Delaware County are Democrats.
THOSE ROTTEN KIDS
I was in the food store this week and as I going in there was an elderly lady – I’d say she was that in her late 70s or 80s – going into the store. These young kids rushed right in front of her, almost knocked her down, ran in the store and started laughing. This is the kind of generation we’re raising today. A pack of animals – that’s all they are. They have no respect for nobody. All it is “me, me, high tech, high tech .” They’re useless.

To “Fly Boy,” I think if Trump really wanted to have some fun and upset all the hippies, he’d stop flying up and down the coast every weekend and he’d start doing what you alluded to – getting a huge Secret Service entourage together and get stuck in D.C. and New York City traffic. Recreate the Caddy limo with the “DJT” license plate he had in the ‘80s – now with the Secret Service-approved, giant bullet-proof doors – that will get about 7 mpg city, and get that thing stuck in Lower Manhattan traffic.
