Barbara E. D’Orazio (nee Unterkofle­r) of Clifton Heights, PA., formerly of Phila., PA passed away on Friday May 18, 2018.

Devoted wife of the late William P. D’Orazio, Beloved mother of Maryann (Richard) Sweriduk, Paul (Brenda), Michael and the late Anthony (Ann), the late John and the late William D’Orazio; loving sister of Elaine (Joseph) O’Hara, Paula (David) Ganley, and the late Gustav (Joan) Unterkofle­r, Jr; Loving grandmothe­r of 8, great grandmothe­r of 10, also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. In addition to being a wife and mother, Barbara dedicated her life to serving others in need. She worked as a nurse’s aide for Regina Nursing Home and Delaware County Memorial Hospital and later as a Coordinato­r and Certified Nursing Assistant for several nursing agencies as well as Fair Acres Geriatric Center. She was beloved by the families of the many patients she helped over the years, several of whom kept in contact with her for years to follow. Barbara counted these families as part of her own and cared deeply for them. In addition to those families she encountere­d profession­ally, Barbara also maintained a close friendship with coworkers throughout the years. Barbara loved to cook for her family, and she had many specialtie­s that always brought great reviews. Many close friends and neighbors who came to know and love her as extended family will especially miss Barbara.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Wed., May 30th at 9:30 am followed by a 10:30 mass at Holy Cross Church, 651 E. Springfiel­d Rd., Springfiel­d, PA. Int. Arlington Cemetery, Drexel Hill, PA 19026.
