Thorpe settles down, gets win

Ben Thorpe gave up just one hit after a rocky first inning and Ben Mutz belted a home run Friday night to lead Upper Darby to a 2-1 win over Aston Valley in the Delco League.

Mutz’s leadoff rope in the bottom of the fifth inning was all Thorpe needed to seal the deal after surrenderi­ng a leadoff dinger and a double in the first inning.
