• Ronald W. Cook

Ronald W. Cook, age 81 and a lifelong resident of Folcroft, recently moving to Wallingford, passed away on June 7, 2018 surrounded by his family.

A graduate from Sharon Hill High School, Ron went on to serve in the Pennsylvania Air National Guards. He worked for 40 years for Arco. He was a faithful member of St. John’s Lutheran Church.

Ron was an active 60 year member of Folcroft Fire Company #1 where he held several positions from Lieutent, Chief, President and Fifth District Fire Marshall. He was a life member of the Delaware County Firemen’s Assoc, Pennsylvania State Firemen’s Assoc. and Keystone State Fire Chiefs Assoc.

He is predeceased by his parents William and Esther Meyer Cook Jr., and his brother William Cook III.

Survivors: Beloved husband of 61 years of Charlotte Cook (nee Stahl), loving father of David Cook and Paul Cook, cherished grandfather of Angela, Lauren and Justin and two great grandsons Aiden and Liam.

Memorial Service: 11am Wed. at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 1500 Glen Ave. Folcroft, PA. 19032.

Visitation: 10:30-11am at the church. Burial: Private In lieu of flowers contributions to St. John’s Lutheran Church, 1500 Glen Ave. Folcroft PA. 19032 would be appreciated.
