Francis “Fibber” “Frank” Magee

Francis “Fibber” “Frank” Magee was born on August 23, 1942.

He was the son of the late Frank and Anna Magee of Philadelphia, PA.

Frank grew up in Southwest Philadelphia. He was a proud graduate of Transfiguration and West Catholic High School.

Following in the footsteps of his father, Frank was a proud member of Local 98 IBEW until his retirement in 2004.

Frank enjoyed his Friday nights out at his favorite watering hole Skippy’s, betting on the ponies, and picking losers on Sunday afternoon during football season. Most of all he cherished Notre Dame University and spending time with his family, especially his five grandchildren.

Frank is survived by his loving wife Helen, his two daughters Kelly (John) and Katie (Keith), and three sons who are also proud members of Local 98 IBEW Francis jr, Michael (Jackie), and Patrick. Frank also leaves behind two sisters Nancy Cunningham and Marie Green (Walt).

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Viewing Monday evening 5:00PM9:00PM and Tuesday morning 9:00AM-10:00AM at O’Leary Funeral Home, 640 E. Springfield, PA 19064. Frank’s Funeral Mass will begin at 10:30AM on Tuesday at Saint Francis of Assisi Church, 136 Saxer Avenue, Springfield, PA 19064.
