William P. “Bill” Davidson, Sr., age 84, a resident of Brookhaven, PA, since 1961, passed away suddenly on Sunday, July 1, 2018.

Bill was a graduate of West Catholic High School for Boys, Class of 1953. He was a US Army Veteran serving from 19561958. Bill was the Owner of Davidson’s Auto Service in Lansdowne, PA, retiring in 2008. Mr. Davidson was a longtime active parishione­r of the Church of Our Lady of Charity, Brookhaven, PA.

Bill was a board member and held the position of Treasurer at Oceans Edge Condo Associatio­n in Sea Isle City, NJ. He was a longtime member of the Brookhaven Swim Club. Bill was a member of the Automobile Owners Associatio­ns and Pennsylvan­ia State Inspection Associatio­n. He was a lover of cars and enjoyed watching NASCAR and attending car shows. Bill was an avid fan of Philadelph­ia sports and the Villanova Wildcats. Most of all, Bill cherished being with his children and participat­ing with his grandchild­ren’s activities and was their biggest fan.

Son of the late William D. and Ellen V. (Crossen) Davidson; husband of the late Kathleen F. (Hilbert) Davidson and brother of the late Paul Davidson.

Survivors: Daughters: Kathleen F. (Peter) Correnti of Garnet Valley, PA and Susan M. Davidson of Newark, DE. Sons: William P. (Linda) Davidson, Jr., of Swedesboro/Logan Twp., NJ, and Thomas (Rebecca) Davidson of Brookhaven, PA. Grandchild­ren: William, Peter, Jena, Kaitlin (Johnny), Ryan, Eric, Julia and Katie.

Funeral Service: Friday, July 6th at 10:30AM at The Church of Our Lady of Charity, 231 Upland Rd., Brookhaven, PA 19015.

Visitation: Thursday, July 5th from 6:30-8:30PM at Minshall Shropshire-Bleyler Funeral Home, Ltd., Middletown (Rte. #352) & Knowlton Rds., Middletown Twp., Media, PA 19063 and Friday, July 6th from 9:3010:15AM at The Church of Our Lady of Charity.

Interment: SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery.
