WE WANT KIDDIE TV
Remember all the good kiddie shows they used to put on? Howdy Doody, Sally Starr, Happy the Clown, the Banana Splits — all the great shows for the kids, real good cartoon shows and shows. Why don’t they bring them back on daytime TV again and get rid of all this garbage and trash? Get rid of these game shows and the shows with all these talking women. Bring back the good shows for the kids to enjoy like we grew up on.
THE RUSSIAN CONSPIRACY
Remember when the president invited the Russian foreign minister to the White House with no Americans present and only Russian press allowed? We now know the Russians interfered in our election to help Trump win yet we sent a GOP-only congressional delegation to Russia on the Fourth of July. Now the president is going to hold a pow-wow with Putin in secret, with no American witnessing the event. All of us, whether right, left or middle should be disturbed by these events.
WHY THEY’RE STUPID
Trump supporters sit and wonder why people call them stupid. Well here’s an example. If you believe that getting close with Russia is a good idea, you’re stupid. If you think that just because Kim Jong Un shook Donald Trump’s hand he’s going to stop this nuclear ambitions, you’re stupid. If you think starting a trade war between us and our allies is a good idea, you’re stupid. That’s it in the nutshell.
NOW IT’S THE UNIONS
Now I see Trump and the other Republicans are trying to destroy the unions now. Anything for the working people and the poor people they want to get rid of. It is pitiful. The only thing they’re for is rich and corporate America, period.
ON THE OTHER HAND
To “Get Ready, Dems:” It doesn’t matter who is in office; the other side will always obstruct any nominee. Can you remember a time that didn’t happen?
HELP THE NATIVE AMERICANS
Great rescue. I’m so glad they got those boys and their coach out of this cave and everybody in the world was interested and worried and hoping that they get them out and now they’re out. Why don’t we pay some attention to the American Indian children? There’s thousands and thousands of them in this country. They get no help from the government. Some of them are starving and their parents leave them to find work and sometimes don’t come back. We get letters in the mail telling us how bad it is on the reservations and it is, because I have been there. But nobody seems to care. I’m not talking about illegal immigrant children, I’m talking about our children. The American Indians are real Americans who were born and raised here before we ever came here.

I understand why Donald Trump has a thing about President Obama. I’m sure you realize that President Obama is at least 10 times as smart as he is and it’s got to drive him crazy . But more important, President Obama was one of the most popular presidents this country ever had — not only here but around the world. If fact the only people who actually probably like Trump are people like Mr. Tom from Linwood.

What a surprise to learn that the same people who are causing these outrageous swings on the stock market are the same ones reaping the profits from the swings. Can you say insider?

These new Tastykakes will never have the taste of the old Tastykakes of the ‘50s and ‘60s when they were 12 and 13 cents. That includes the Tastypies — the lemon pie was great and so were the blueberry and apple. Also the chocolate Tastykakes were bigger and they had the little girl on the package.
STATE OF GRACE
Kate and William remind me of Princess Grace of Monaco because they take care of their own kids at least part of the time where a lot of people even in America don’t take care of their kids. They have nannies all the time. So they’re a beautiful family and I hope they stay that way. Harry and Megan — they’re another story.
