Data collectors will never ask to enter a home. They will always wear a bright yellow vest with “Tyler,” the company performing the reassessment, on the back, and display a county-issued identification. They have been trained to knock, identify themselves if someone is home, and inform the occupant of the reason for their visit, but never enter the home.
Anyone who encounters a person posing as a data collector and asking to go into their home should refuse entry and immediately call the Police at 9-1-1 and also call the Reassessment Hotline at 610-891-5695.
