Ruth A. Struck (nee Carmichael)

Ruth A. Struck (nee Carmichael) on Aug. 31, 2018, age 82, formerly of Secane.

Beloved wife of the late John A. Struck. Devoted mother of David Alan Struck, Deborah Jane Elliott (John) and Steven Robert Struck (Donna). Grandmother of Daniel Ropski (Brittany) and Lauren Elliott, great grandmother of Natalie Ropski. Sister of Robert Carmichael (Nancy), Jane Fleming and the late Alan Carmichael.

Ruth was a retiree of Arthur Anderson LLP where she worked as a word processor. A long-standing member of Holmes Presbyterian Church where she served as a Deacon.

A volunteer of Taylor Hospital and member of the Junior Board. Ruth lit up the world with her dimpled smile, genuinely caring ways and uplifting personality. Family was most important to Ruth.

The family would like to give special acknowledgment to Ruth’s caregiver and friend, Nancy Hayes.
