I don’t think the Trump has much to worry about with Bob Woodward’s new book “Fear.” I doubt that his diminishing base can get past a second-grade reading level anyway so the book won’t have much effect on them.

What? Trump’s on TV saying he’s going to have to go to Congress for money for the hurricane when it comes. It ain’t my problem. These people want to live 2 feet above sea level with water on all four sides. I don’t care, that’s their problem. You’re supposed to have home-owners insurance, aren’t you? Why does my Congress have to pay for a hurricane when it won’t pay for a wall? What’s going on here?
SICKENING SITUATION
When is this country going to rise up and get Medicare for all and get rid of the crooked health insurance companies? It’s a disgrace. I’m on Medicare and Medicaid and now they want to start these three health plans we have to pick from. Already my main doctor won’t take any of them and I’ve been going to him for 15 years. I think it’s a disgrace that the government is telling us what we have to do and what doctors we can go to. This needs to be changed.

As a regular WIP listener, my radio was always on WIP. On Sunday they have a one-hour community service program hosted by Peter Solomon but it’s not community-service oriented — all he does is bash Trump and defend the Clintons. He has his own forum and should be taken off because of prejudice. Thank God Sunny Hill follows and he is great for the station. LISTENER
DOG-GONE IT
Who says you don’t have to have a dog on a leash in out town because we don’t have a dog leash law? The State of Pennsylvania has a dog leash law but evidently our town is not in the state of Pennsylvania. We must be in Jersey or Maryland or Delaware. We have the most entitled group of newcomers that all have dogs in all of Delaware County.

Well as I got older I put myself on the “do not call” list, hoping to avoid some of these solicitations and whatever type of phone calls. Now I just thought with the general election coming up shortly, is there any list that you sign up for so politicians won’t come to the door? We have one of our Delaware County scientific geniuses who doesn’t believe in global warming and climate change. He thinks because the temps are going to go down in the 50s that must mean there’s no be global warming. Simple answers to some complex solutions requires a simple mind, like you saying simple things like that. Get a grip about what’s going on.

BENGHAZI RETURNS!
What a disgrace for Obama to say Benghazi is a wild conspiracy theory. He won’t accept responsibility for the murders of Americans. He and Hillary were the reason for the attack. They did nothing to stop it or help or the ambassador. Obama and Hillary are too self-centered people who are only thinking about themselves and their political careers.
A DART TO POLITICS
I totally agree with the Dart on page 16 of the times on Sept. 1. Politics should never be a part of a funeral. That’s why Obama and Bush and, yes, Meghan McCain’s remarks should have been made at a different place and time. No class, in my opinion. Ivanka Trump, who is in attendance at the church, has shown remarkable class with all the insults shown to her.
WE WANT PROOF
I’d like to know why our township doesn’t give a receipt for paying your installment tax, which is over $1,200. I get a receipt when I buy a soft pretzel. The township tax collector is refusing to give me a receipt and I have no proof I paid.
