Forbes’ goal a winner for Strath Haven
Maggie Forbes collected a goal and an assist in the span of seven minutes to lift Strath Haven to a
3-1 triumph over Lower Merion in Central League girls soccer action Thursday.
Forbes fed Gianna Zweier for the equalizer in the 26th minute and then put home the go-ahead goal in the 33rd minute.
Devon Maillet added an insurance tally in the 36th minute to put the game away for the Panthers (5-0, 2-0).

Goalie Bryn McLaughlin made three saves for the Lions (1-2-2,

In nonleague action: CHRISTIAN ACADEMY 6, BAPTIST REGIONAL 1 » Grace Gormley and Evelyn Brittain scored two goals each while Dezeree Carter and 13 Carlie Mannion had one goal each in propelling TCA to its first win of the year.

Tahjay Swagby opened the scoring with a goal and Andy Baryeh finished things off with three consecutive goals as Academy Park took home a 5-0 victory over Interboro in its Del Val League opener.
Bastien Pigeot added a goal and goalie Abdul Tholley had five saves for the Knights (2-2, 1-0).
