Roger B. Pollock
Roger B. Pollock was born on April 21, 1946 to Harvey and Irma (Palmer) Pollock in Chester, Pa. He died on August 29, 2018 in Elizabethtown, Pa. at the Masonic Village.
Roger was predeceased by sister Doris and brothers Harvey, John, William, and Robert.
He is survived by sisters Ann, Joyce, and Janet; and brothers Barry, Randy, and Philip; his wife of 38 years Evelyn Rowdon Pollock and their son Bruce D, Pollock.
As a member of the U.S. Army, Roger was a member of the Honor Guard at President John F. Kennedy’s funeral in Washington D.C. as well as his Burial Detail at Arlington National Cemetery.
He worked as a garage door installer and repairer. He loved sports: Phillies, Eagles, and Flyers. He also played darts and bowled in a church league.
His Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 22nd, at 10 A.M. at Olivet Presbyterian Church, 1001 Washington Avenue, in Prospect Park, Pa. 19076.
Friends may call on Saturday from 9:30 A.M. until 10 A.M. at the church. His burial will follow at Arlington Cemetery in Drexel Hill, Pa. In lieu of flowers, contributions made in Roger’s memory to Olivet Presbyterian Church at the above address would be appreciated by his family.
