Roger B. Pollock was born on April 21, 1946 to Harvey and Irma (Palmer) Pollock in Chester, Pa. He died on August 29, 2018 in Elizabetht­own, Pa. at the Masonic Village.

Roger was predecease­d by sister Doris and brothers Harvey, John, William, and Robert.

He is survived by sisters Ann, Joyce, and Janet; and brothers Barry, Randy, and Philip; his wife of 38 years Evelyn Rowdon Pollock and their son Bruce D, Pollock.

As a member of the U.S. Army, Roger was a member of the Honor Guard at President John F. Kennedy’s funeral in Washington D.C. as well as his Burial Detail at Arlington National Cemetery.

He worked as a garage door installer and repairer. He loved sports: Phillies, Eagles, and Flyers. He also played darts and bowled in a church league.

His Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 22nd, at 10 A.M. at Olivet Presbyteri­an Church, 1001 Washington Avenue, in Prospect Park, Pa. 19076.

Friends may call on Saturday from 9:30 A.M. until 10 A.M. at the church. His burial will follow at Arlington Cemetery in Drexel Hill, Pa. In lieu of flowers, contributi­ons made in Roger’s memory to Olivet Presbyteri­an Church at the above address would be appreciate­d by his family.
