J. Saraceni,

61, of Folcroft, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2018, at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.

He was born

March 2, 1957, in Philadelphia to the late Anthony J., Sr. & Mary P. (McManus) Saraceni.

He was born and grew up in the Elmwood Park section of Southwest Philadelphia. He graduated from West Catholic High School in 1975 and, until recently, worked as a warehouse manager. Among his many friends, Czar was known for his great personality and was always quick to smile. He liked playing and watching sports. He enjoyed being with his family and friends. His beautiful daughter Mia was the love of his life.

He is survived by Kim Bye, his daughter Mia, and siblings, Patricia (Ed) Carter, Maureen (William) Squadrito, Kathleen (Anthony) Froio, Anthony, Jr. (Michelle) and Michael (Gina). Also many loving nieces, nephews, family and many friends.

Family and friends are invited to his viewing Monday, Sept. 24, from 6 – 9 PM at the Cavanagh Family Funeral Home, 301 Chester Pike, Norwood, and Tuesday from 9:15 – 10:45 am at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 233 Mohawk Ave., Norwood. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 am. Interment in Ss. Peter & Paul Cemetery will follow Cremation With Confidence from Cavanagh Family Funeral Home.
