Albert H. Ostien, Jr., surrounded by family, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 20,

2018.

Born in Essington, Pennsylvania, Al was the son of Albert H. Ostien, Sr. and Margaret Ostien (nee Gallagher). Al served honorably in the U.S. Navy and was a graduate of St. Joseph’s University. Al worked in the Corporate Tax Department at Sun Oil Company for

41 years until his retirement in 1989.

Al enjoyed photography, spending time with his children grandchildren and great-grandchildren and enjoyed golfing with his longtime friends at local area courses.

Al was predeceased by his brother, Thomas Ostien, and son, John Ostien. Al is survived by his wife, Frances Ostien (nee Gargan); his sister Mary Markelwith (nee Ostien); his children, Terry (nee Bingham) Ostien, Michael (Maureen), Kevin (Kate), Stephen (Mary), Jeanne (Dave) Reith, Daniel (Renie), David and Patrick Ostien; 14 grandchildren; 7 greatgrandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit the family Monday, September 24, 2018 6:00-8:00 pm at Alleva Funeral Home, 1724 E. Lancaster Ave., Paoli, PA, and Funeral Mass on Tuesday, September 25, at 10:00 am at St. Patrick Church,

626 Baily Rd., Yeadon, PA.
