Delaware County Historical Society’s Museum: 408 Avenue of the States, Chester. A yearlong celebratio­n to honor the birth of James Barton (Mickey) Vernon. Women Against Rape: Delaware County Women Against Rape has been providing services to victims of sexual assault and their significan­t others since 1974. The agency depends on the support of its volunteers to meet the needs of clients 24 hours a day. Volunteers receive 40 hours of training to prepare them for their responsibi­lities and are asked to provide support at least twice a month for an evening or weekend shift.
