Then I remembered that after Trump’s tax reform, “Mr. Tom” said all four of his kids got bonuses and raises. Reading Thursday’s newspaper, I see our high school plans to impose fees on some of our classes. That is so ridiculous — our taxes are high enough. Here’s an idea: How about we slap a $10 fee on all the football players for every game that they play or the basketball team for every game that they play and the field hockey team for every game that they play, etc., etc., etc.? It seems like we can cover all those other fees with our taxes that are ridiculously high. That’s my opinion.

Well, two things I learned recently. One, lawyers don’t help you to help you but help you for how much money they can get out of it. And politicians have shown us they don’t work for the good of the people or for the country but just for their big bucks and benefits. They don’t care about the people.

To “The Despicable,” in your comments you called Judge Kavanaugh a sexual predator. Judge Kavanaugh has been a distinguished judge. He’s worked in the White House and has held top positions are been confirmed by the Senate twice for his positions. Never once was anything been brought up about anything. We have to look at these things, America, where Americans are innocent until proven guilty. Our country was founded on the basis of law.

Unfortunately, the vetting process for the Supreme Court is broken and is just used as another political power play by the congressional snake pit with the candidate being played in the middle. This was clear in 2016 when the GOP leadership refused to even vet Merrick Garland, Obama’s choice, even though it was constitutionally the correct thing to do and it happened again in 2018 with Brett Kavanaugh facing a congressional circus. I don’t believe members of either party really care who gets into the Supreme Court based on judicial integrity. They only want to score points for their own party.

This is a message to all people in Delaware County. Now is the time for all good men to come to the aid of their country. Vote Republican.
A JUDGE’S JOB
I think we’re all a little bit misguided here about what kind of job Judge Kavanaugh) is going to get. Here’s what it amounts to: Basically he will be the police force for some of worst crooks in our country. There are no worse crooks than what you have running around down there in D.C., thieves in the name of the law. Mr. Kavanaugh will get to make decisions that police these people and try to keep them within the confines of the Constitution of the United States that our forefathers put into effect 245 years ago.

I cannot believe what I just saw. They showed that woman from Maine, the deciding vote on Kavanaugh. She said she believes the woman’s testimony but she doesn’t have enough corroborating witnesses. Excuse me. She believes the person was sexually assaulted up because she doesn’t have enough witnesses she’s going to vote the other way? My God, you know just how arrogant politicians are. Just the fact that she can say she believes her but she’s not going to vote that way.
