Seale of approval? Not from this GOP group

-

To the Times: How many different ways are the Delco Dems going to dodge the question? They have a real live socialist running for state representative - Kristin Seale - and all of their establishment Democrats are jointly campaigning with her. It’s fair not only to point out Seale’s positions on these issues, but also to question whether those supporting her campaign agree.

Want sources? Go to Google and type in “Medium” and “Kristin Seale” to read her responses to the Democrat Socialists of America endorsement questionnaire. When asked about the Purely Public Charities Act, which deals with tax-exempt status of religious institutions, Kristin writes: “I’d personally like to see religion removed from exemption.” In the same article she says she wants to provide full, comprehensive health coverage to people “regardless of their immigration status” - i.e. illegal immigrants.

More sources? Go to her twitter page @Servethe168th. Check out Kristin Seale’s post on July 10, 2018, about how she supports abolishing Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and ending Philadelphia’s cooperation with federal immigration officials.

Or maybe her retweets on July 13,

2018, calling for police to be “held accountable for the state-inflicted violence against people of color” or Kristin Seale’s May 16, 2018, retweet of a message to her stating “only direct action can bring the capitalist system to its knees” and another one the same day about loving socialism and Marxism.

Not enough? Then there is the fact the Seale is also a founding member of the Delco Branch of the Democrat Socialists of America, a group that on their Twitter account (@DelcoDSA) brags about “building some socialism” (Aug. 9, 2018) and how they are working to “turn the suburbs the correct shade of red” (Aug. 9, 2018). Then there is former Democratic Congressional candidate Molly Sheehan’s tweet on (July 29,

208) about showing “the burbs that DemSocialists” can “take out corporate Dems.” Sheehan also shared a tweet from the Delco DSA (which Seale was a founding charter member of) on July 19, 2018 about how they were going to work to “spread Socialism where people said it could not go.”

And this is all just scratching the surface. Go through Seale’s own Twitter page to see all this and many more of her extreme views.

So I ask the letter writer to please, explain where Delaware County Republican Party Chairman Andrew Reilly made any “bad faith arguments” or made any “misinterpretations.” Reilly, myself and many voters simply want to know: Why are the Delco Democrats and their candidates campaigning with this clear extremist who is anticapitalism, pro Marxism, anti-police, anti ICE, for free health care for illegal immigrants, and so much more.
