Pat Forman

Harold “Pat” Forman, 91, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 14, 2018 at his home in Pennsburg, PA.

He was the beloved husband of Jo Anne (GuerreChaley) Forman with whom he shared 29 years of marriage. Born in Philadelphia, PA on March 17, 1927, Pat was the son of the late David and Katherine (Kravitz) Forman. Pat Forman was an Entrepreneur and Inventor. He founded four companies: Lambda, Formatron, Tearstrip Systems, Inc. and Sealstrip Corporation, invented many of the company’s products, and holds many patents. He was an avid tennis player, skier and golfer. He loved his work, his family and friends and his pets.

In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by two children, Laura Forman (Justin Prieur and his daughter Justene), Exton, PA; and Robert “Bob” Forman (Patti Leonard), Havertown, PA; one stepdaughter, Heather Chandler, wife of Jon, Schwenksville, PA; and two grandchildren, Miranda and Cameron.

In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by one stepson, Scott Hartman. The family would like to thank all of the family and friends that reached out to Pat over the last few months, it brought him comfort. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 from 11:00am – 12:30pm, with a Life Celebration Service at 12:30pm at the Houck & Gofus Funeral Home, Inc., 955 N. Charlotte St., Pottstown, PA 19464. A luncheon will follow afterwards.
