Beth and Dan Wheeler had it all!. They lived in a beautiful home and had raised a wonderful family. Dan was enjoying a thriving career as an on-air television host for QVC. However, their world was rocked in 2012 when Beth was diagnosed with Stage IV endometrial cancer. For three years, Dan balanced his career as a cheerful, upbeat QVC television host with caring for his wife, Beth, as she battled for her life. In October of 2015, after a very long roller coaster of emotions, she decided to stop all treatment. Beth passed into heaven at her home on Oct. 30, 2015. Now, at last, Dan shares their inspiring story in Beth’s journey through countless doctor’s appointments, medical procedures, surgeries and Chemo Therapy treatments will strengthen your faith and inspire your hope.

“Our priorities were turned upside down but ultimately right side up in an instant,” Dan Wheeler said. “While those three years were the toughest of our lives they were also the most meaningful because we didn’t waste our time worrying about little things that didn’t matter. This book will remind you to live your life in the moment making the best out of every situation. “

The book shows how Beth and Dan turned chemo treatments into chemo “dates.” They learned that eating chocolate croissants and tomato basil soup in a chemo suite is special if you are with the one you love.

Beth’s tremendous capacity to love swept through the halls of medical clinics, hospitals and chemotherapy suites positively impacting the lives of medical personnel, family and friends. She became every doctor’s favorite patient and helped nurses rediscover why they went into their profession. You will read about the many miracles they encountered along the way, including an angelic appearance and “glimpses of heaven.”

Beth’s strong Christian faith enabled her to face death with grace, dignity and courage. “Hurricane of Love” is a must read for anyone facing a serious illness, caring for a loved one or grieving over a loss. Dan shares how he worked through his grief and turned his pain into his highest calling after Beth’s passing.

Dan Wheeler has worked in radio and television for over 40 years. He was a host on QVC for almost 30 of those years and has interviewed hundreds of celebrities including hall of fame athletes, musicians and actors.
