SNOW JOB

It’s snowing. I love that. I can count on one hand in my lifetime the amount of times it has snowed before Christmas. Must be that global warming you’re all whining about, huh. Have a nice day.

RYAN’S HOPELESS

The only good thing about this election. The Paul Ryan types out of here. Do nothing, lots of talk, lots of policy and they do nothing. MR. TOM LINWOOD

KEN’S LAMENT

Gotta love that one about the new Barbie doll. Don’t you know they got a new Ken doll coming out too this Christmas. It comes with a shopping cart and a couple of plastic bags and you pull the string on its back and it says, oh no, not me too.

MATT SLAP

I know it’s off season for baseball but I’ve got to vent. Matt Klentak is destroying the Phils. Now he fired the pitching coach who did a great job. The reason the pitching fell apart again is Klentak did not go out and get a pitcher at the deadline. Hamels and Happ were available. The young pictures never pitched so much and that became a problem because they were tired. They needed a good vet. Gotta fire Klentak.

PARK IT

Priorities, priorities. I’m glad to see the County Council is pushing for a solution to stray animals. When are they gonna start pushing for solution for the 1,500 stray employees. They can’t park. A DISGRUNTLED EMPLOYEE

THE VOTE

Democracy will never survive if people vote by gender or race instead of the most qualified for the job. Please vote for the most qualified for the job. JEANETTE G.

COUNT THE VOTE

Why is there a deadline for counting the votes in Florida. You count every vote until every vote is counted. There should be absolutely no deadline whatsoever. This is not democracy having a deadline for counting votes. This is another way to ensure the Republicans cheat people out of another election.

TRUMP FOREVER

To all you any antiTrumpers. He’s a patriot and our country was going down the drain. Common sense is why the military and anybody else who cares about the USA backs President Trump. A PATRIOT

THE DEFENSE

I am calling in defense of Phil, the editor of the Daily Times being called the Dem Times. There are a bunch of us Republicans calling in and Phil does put us in. He does his best to be impartial, but you know the saying, you’re damned if you do and damned if you don’t. Good job, Phil, and by the way you have the best sports coverage anywhere. A CIVIL REPUBLICAN

SHAKE IT UP

Yeah I live in Woodlyn and there’s a McDonald’s in Woodlyn and every time you go there you try to get a milkshake the machine is always down. I guess $1B company and every time I go up there for past four or five months the machine is always down. Please let them know that.

CLEAN IT UP

Chester resident to the mayor of the City of Chester: When will the city be cleaned up? Clean the drains that are stopping up, clean out the drains that are stopping up the streets and fix the roads, they need patching. The city has gone to hell. The city has not gotten better since you became mayor. Thank you. Chester resident and taxpayer. Please clean this city up.

ROADSIDE HELP

I would just like to thank the couple that helped me on Cherry Tree and Moser Street in Aston the other day. My car broke down. I just wanna thank you so much for helping me. Thank you.

RUN IT

Why don’t you have Mary Gay Scanlon let us all know when she has the swamp drained. And if those opioid addiction death number ever goes down before I die, put it on the front page of the Daily Times. It’ll be a landmark.

AMAZON MESS

So I see that Amazon just pick the two places they’re gonna put their next headquarters and guess who gets benefits from it? Oh that’s right. Hardly anybody.
