Patricia M. Murphy (nee Hastings)

Patricia M. Murphy (nee Hastings), age 88, departed this life on Friday, November 16, 2018, with love surrounding her, at her home in Media, PA. after an extended illness.

She was born January 2, 1930, in Philadelphia, PA to the late Austin and Della Hastings (nee Hussey). She grew up in West Philadelphia and attended West Catholic Girls H.S., married Paul in 1951 and devotedly raised 5 children who cherished her. She retired from First Pennsylvania Bank after 20 years of service and was happiest when dancing.

She was predeceased by her loving husband Paul Anthony, her daughter Patricia Vickers, her brother Joseph Hastings and her loving companion Duke Acuazzo.

She is survived by her children Paul (JoAnn) Murphy, Maureen (Stephen) Bozzo, Eileen (Bruce) Brown and Teresa (Raymond) Cwiertniewicz, her 15 Grandchildren and 17 GreatGrandchildren all who loved and will forever miss her, as well as Duke’s children, Duke (Ro) Acuazzo and Denise (Jim) Unger.

Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation

10:30 to 11:00 AM Saturday, November 24, 2018, at Nativity BVM Chruch, 30 E. Franklin St., Media Pa

19063 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM.

Interment S.S. Peter and Paul Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, in Pat’s memory, contributions can be made to Nativity BVM church. Pat loved her Church!
