How to navigate Delco roads this week
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation has announced only a handful of projects that Delaware County motorists should be aware of this week:
Springfield
• State Road, weekday lane restrictions with flagging at the intersection with Rolling Road, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 26 through Dec. 7 for water main installation.
Marple
• West Chester Pike, single lane closures in both directions between the Interstate 476 Interchange and New Ardmore Avenue, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Bov.
26 through Nov. 30 for excavation.
• West Chester Pike, closed between the I-476 Interchange and New Ardmore Avenue, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Nov. 28 for overhead sign removal. Traffic will be routed to New Ardmore Avenue, Sproul Road and Lawrence Road, but motorists will still have access to the I-476 North ramp.
Upper Darby
• State Road, lane restrictions between Township Line Road and Lansdowne Avenue, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 28 through Dec.
1 for paving operations.
