Delco native participates in Marine training
U.S. Marine Staff Sgt. Andrew Laloup took part in a live-fire recovery mission on Camp Wilson, Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center Twentynine Palms, California Oct. 30. as part of the Integrated Training Exercise 1-19.
Marines with Transportation Services Company, Combat Logistics Battalion 4, and 3rd Marine Logistics Group trained to recover damaged vehicles and personnel during combat operations. ITX 1-19 is a large-scale Marine Air-Ground Task Force integration exercise in which CLB-4 Marines and Sailors train to respond quickly to any contingency by fully integrating with ground and air combat elements of the MAGTF.
Chadds Ford native reenlists with NY Army National Guard
LATHAM, N.Y.— Major General Ray Shields, the Adjutant General, announces the recent reenlistment of members of the State National Guard in recognition of their continuing commitment to serve community, state and nation as part of the Army National Guard.
Sergeant Benjamin Moser from Chadds Ford has reenlisted to continue service with the 206th Military Police Company.
“It’s great to see Soldiers staying in the Army and continuing to serve their State and Nation in the New York Army National Guard,” Shields said. “The most important Army asset we have is the individual Soldier. The dedication, skills, and leadership traits they bring to our community and their employers are invaluable.”
