Robinson’s double-double powers Eastern

There was no stopping Regie Robinson Tuesday night, as the Eastern forward scored 24 points and grabbed 15 rebounds to lead the Eagles to a 93-62 win over PSU-Harrisburg.

Robinson also added five blocks, four assists and three steals.

Jaelyn Harris scored 19 points, Viki Kneis added 18 and Brianna Young-Harris chipped in 12 points for the Eagles

(4-2).

HAVERFORD 65, FRANKLIN & MARSHALL

46>> Megan Furch led a balanced attack with 14 points to power the Fords to the win. Macy Goldbach (Garnet Valley) scored 13 points, Maddie Gallic chipped in a dozen and Anna-Sophia Capizzi provided 10 of her 11 points in the first half as the Fords (4-1, 1-1 Centennial) rode a 23-8 edge in the second quarter to a comfortabl­e victory. PSU-BRANDYWINE 83, PSU-HAZLETON 61 >> The Delco Lions (2-4, 1-0 PSUAC) sprung to life after a 13-point deficit in the opening quarter, outscoring Hazleton by 35 points the rest of the way.

Brandi James (Interboro) led the charge with 18 points and eight rebounds. Madison D’Ambrosio (Springfiel­d High) added 12 points, and Hope Coacher (Haverford High) and Ginamarie McNamee (Interboro) combined for 21 points off the bench as the Brandywine reserves provided 36 points. JOHNS HOPKINS 81, SWARTHMORE 53 >> Audra Woodside neared a double-double with 11 points and nine rebounds, and Kendall Tribus provided eight points off the bench, but it wasn’t enough for the Fords (1-5, 0-2 Centennial).

Men’s Basketball

Raquan Brown-Johnson scored 24 points, and Aaron Chavis-Johnson controlled the lane with 12 points, nine rebounds and six blocks as Neumann outlasted Cairn, 79-77, Tuesday in a game featuring 16 lead changes.

Mark Perry added 14 points, and Waheem Lowman chipped in 10 for the Knights (5-3).

PSU-HAZLETON 68, PSU-BRANDYWINE 62 >> R.J. Dixon scored 19 points, and Bryce Barrouk and Jacob Hunt each hit three

3-pointers to tally 13 points, but the Delco Lions (2-3, 0-1 PSUAC) fell.

VIRGINIA UNION 93, CHEYNEY 68 >> Jemal Smith set a VUU program record with 21 assists to go with 11 points in besting the Wolves. Chris Richardson led Cheyney (16) with 17 points. Jalen Branch chipped in 11 points and Brewster Ward (Chester High) and Derrick Biney chipped in 10 points apiece.
