U.S. Air Force salutes graduates of basic military training

SAN ANTONIO >> Four recent graduates from basic military training at San Antonio have Delaware County connection­s.

Airman Quor-Darius D. Davis also earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Davis is the son of Carlotta Brown-Williams, of Boothwyn, and Maurice Davis, of Chester. He is the grandson of Charles Davis, of Chester, and nephew of Lafeyetta Davis, of Boothwyn, and Randy Williams of Atlanta.

Airman 1st Class Michael F. Rich earned four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Rich earned distinctio­n as an honor graduate.

He is the son of Kenneth and Brandy Rich and grandson of Alfred and Sherry Rich, all of Clifton Heights.

The airman is a 2014 graduate of Upper Darby High School. He earned an associate degree in 2016 from Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology in Lancaster.

Airman Alex J. Mullins graduated and also earned four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Mullins is the son of William Mullins of Woodlyn.

He is a 2016 graduate of Interboro High School.

Airman 1st Class Dennis S. Cooper Jr. completes basic training and earned four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.

Cooper is the son of Dennis Cooper and Leona Cooper of Chester.

He is a 2010 graduate of Chester High School. He earned an associate degree in 2013 from Williamson College of The Trades.

All airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.
