Victory in final relay lifts Lansdowne past Springfiel­d

Donovan Hunt, Hezekiah Dombach, Spencer Thome and Reilly Shaffer won the final event, the boys open relay, to lift Lansdowne to a 245-232 victory over Springfiel­d Swim Club in Delco Swim League action Saturday.

Kailey Youngblood, Jillian Rysheck, and Elisa and Ashley Foopa set the Springfiel­d Swim Club pool record in the 12U girls relay (1:56.35), while Peyton Martelli (8U girls fly, breast, free), Leon Eichstaedt (8U boys fly, breast, relay), Colton Turner (8U boys back, free, relay), Tara Burden (10U girls fly, free, relay) and Jannah Rhysheck

(10U girls back, breast, relay) were the triple winners for Lansdowne.

Springfiel­d’s Ben Kutufaris set three SSC pool and team records to pace the home team. He won the boys 14U breaststro­ke

(30.22) and freestyle (21.01), and teamed with Luke Kennedy, Jack Kennedy and Michael Huegel to break the

32-year-old record in the free relay (1:39.72) . Ryan McLaughlin set the pool record for the 10U boys butterfly (14.74) and the pool and team mark in the backstroke (15.18).Thomas Murphy took the 10U breast in a team record time of 17.73.
