Debusscher­e brothers pace Strath Haven

Jackson Debusscher­e shot a 1-under par 34 and his brother, Tyler, followed with a 1-over-36 in leading Strath Haven over Lower Merion and Upper Darby in a Central League tri-match at Philadelph­ia Country Club.

The Panthers topped Lower Merion, 193-209, and knocked off Upper Darby, 193-297. The Aces beat the Royals, 209-297.

Jackson made three birdies and Tyler had birdies on the second and fourth hole for the Panthers. Kevin Smith shot a 3-under-par which included an eagle on the fourth hole.

Nick Liberio and Jim Sloan shot 60 apiece for the Royals.

Also in the Central League: CONESTOGA 186, RADNOR 193 >> Jack Hamilton and Tyler Tornoe each shot a 1-over par 36 while James Quinn chipped in a 39 for the Raiders (10-2, 7-2). Quinn Bookbinder shot a 4-over par 40 in the loss. MARPLE NEWTOWN 228, SPRINGFIEL­D 250 >> The Tigers were led by Josh Murphy (46) and Drake Ludwick (48) in the victory.

Sean Murphy had the best personal score on the course with a 9-over par 45 and Fran Grady followed his teammate up with a 49 to pace the Cougars. HAVERFORD 216, PENNCREST 219 >> Riley Quarterman shot a 2-over par 37, Liam Hempel carded a 42 and Andrew Danico recorded a 45 for the Fords.

Corey Anderson and Ryan Cahill shot a 42 each and Ben Chang turned in a 44 for the Lions.

In the Catholic League: CARDINAL O’HARA 238, FATHER JUDGE 302 >> Danny Juliana recorded a career-low 1-under par 34, which included a par on No. 6 and an eagle on No. 7. He followed those up with a birdie on the ninth to close out a strong day for the Lions (9-5, 8-3).

Thomas Larkin shot a 39 with five pars while Joseph Taggart, Ryan Garvey and Anthony Carson each turned in five-over-par performanc­es.
