MEDIA >> The Pennsylvania Institute of Technology announces that pharmacist Lou Giannotti has joined P.I.T. as director of Cannabis Studies. Giannotti comes to PIT with an extensive background in the retail and corporate pharmaceutical business as well as the cannabis industry. Giannotti brings a wealth of experience from the pharmaceutical and cannabis career fields. A pharmacist by profession, he has over 20 years of experience as a Pharmacy District Supervisor for various community pharmacies. Giannotti’s supervisory experience led to a position as the Director of College Relations and Professional Recruitment for Rite Aid where he worked with a variety of colleges and universities in the area, building relationships to bridge the gap between graduation and career opportunities for pharmacy students.
