How to get around Delco’s roads this week
There are scant few roadwork projects scheduled around the county this week, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. Delco motorists will nonetheless want to take note of the following ongoing projects while getting around by vehicle:
Aldan
• Providence Road, closures between Oak Avenue and Clifton Avenue around the clock through early November for water main installation. During construction, Providence Road motorists will be directed to use Oak Avenue/Oak Lane, MacDade Boulevard and Clifton Avenue. Middletown
• Baltimore Pike, periodic lane closures between Pennell Road and Valley Road, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays and some possibly some Saturdays from through June 2020 for utility and road work. Nether Providence
• Rose Valley Road, closures between Providence Road and Avondale Road,
9 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays through early November for water main installation. Rose Valley Road motorists will be directed to use Providence Road, Chester Road and Yale Avenue during construction.
