How to get around Delco’s roads this week

There are scant few roadwork projects scheduled around the county this week, according to the Pennsylvan­ia Department of Transporta­tion. Delco motorists will nonetheles­s want to take note of the following ongoing projects while getting around by vehicle:

Aldan

• Providence Road, closures between Oak Avenue and Clifton Avenue around the clock through early November for water main installati­on. During constructi­on, Providence Road motorists will be directed to use Oak Avenue/Oak Lane, MacDade Boulevard and Clifton Avenue. Middletown

• Baltimore Pike, periodic lane closures between Pennell Road and Valley Road, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays and some possibly some Saturdays from through June 2020 for utility and road work. Nether Providence

• Rose Valley Road, closures between Providence Road and Avondale Road,

9 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays through early November for water main installati­on. Rose Valley Road motorists will be directed to use Providence Road, Chester Road and Yale Avenue during constructi­on.
