HERE’S WHY

The one and only reason that there are negative reports in the newspaper about Donald Trump is because he’s such a bad person. Always was and always will be. There is nothing that you could say positive about him. Maybe you should listen to other news other than Fox.

FACE THE FACTS

“Garbage In” commented about President Trump complaining about the whistleblower, offering to use “write in” policy to make his point. So I ask, if someone puts out a negative story on Joe Blow does Joe Blow have the right to face his accuser and offer a defense to the accusation? Of course he does and so does the president. In the president’s case the whistleblower very well could be a figment of Adam Schiff’s imagination as after denying he had contact with the whistleblower he admitted there was contact. Adam Schiff had proof of Trump’s wrongdoing with the Mueller report and we are still waiting to see it. Adam Schiff is a known fabricator of one lie after another. THE SAP FROM HAVERTOWN

FREINDLY NONSENSE

Opinion pieces submitted by Chris Freind should come with a disclaimer pointing out all of the nonsense. He talks about the shift in power in Delaware County and says “by far” the reason is because of shifting demographics. He says Delco is undergoing an “influx” of people coming in from highcrime Philadelphia. That is what we in the business call a dog whistle. Google it. What evidence do you have, Mr. Freind, that corroborates your claim that Delco is being invaded by Philadelphia residents? Later in the article you claim the GOP, under Trump’s watch, did better than average in the 2018 midterms. Tell me, how does losing 40 seats in the House translate to “better than average?”

FAKE FACTS

Ken Delmar shows that his grasp of the impeachment process is very thin indeed. The House, and the House alone, deals with impeaching a president. Congress as a whole does not vote to impeach. Impeachment is not the trial. The House draws up articles of impeachment, which is sent to the Senate. The trial takes place in the Senate. So to say that Trump won’t be impeached shows a real lack of understanding. It is highly likely that Trump will be impeached. As to what will happen at the trial phase in the Senate, it’s too early to tell for sure. Impeachment and conviction are not the same things. The rest of Mr. Delmar’s opinion piece is so blind to current events that it’s rather sad. Schift “loves to hold court?” Seriously? Not Trump. Schift, right? The whistleblower is a “former supporter of Biden and Obama?” Really now? Trump’s “accomplishments” have taken place “in spite of the hate and opposition” of the Dems? Where has Mr. Delmar been during Obama’s two terms? And then he brings in the specter of a “civil war.” Golly gee, what a huge helping of poppycock in just a few paragraphs. I commend Mr. Delmar for signing off with his real name. I would hope that he will take a bit of time to investigate things a bit more thoroughly before again lending his good name to misinformation and baseless statements. JB

SEND IN THE CLOWN

You don’t need a crystal ball to see what is going to happen between now and next November. The majority of Americans have Trump fatigue but have also gotten used to the clown show for the past three years. There is actually nothing that would be a hurdle for Trump to get re-elected. We have impeachment proceedings in process that will auto-fail in the Senate. That has already been decided by the GOP before they even read the transcripts. This will translate into a major victory for Trump and an embarrassing setback for the Dems. What do they have to offer? Biden, who is like the old Ford out in the shed. He may or may not start. You have Warren, who lives in a liberal snow globe pushing a fantasy health plan with fantasy funding while angering even the most antiTrump investors on Wall Street. We are all tired of Sander’s rhetoric and everyone else will be broke by Super Tuesday. So who is left? Our clown running the White House circus, of course. So ... remembering Jackie Gleason’s iconic linem, “And away we go!” DISILLUSIONED DEM
