VOTES HAPPEN

- THE PRIMOS POLITICIAN JOE FROM NORWOOD

So the whole county goes blue and in Brookhaven voters sweep out the two hardest-working councilmen we have? It doesn’t make sense.

TRASHED

Certain people think they are above the law when they put their trash out two or three days head of schedule. Where are all the ridley code enforcers?

HAPPY TRAILS?

Trailblazers, are you kidding? I see the four people who are just on to the Delaware County Council. If anybody remembers reading the paper a week or so ago, they protected one of their own who had child pornography and they had the police name and date and everything when this happened and these council people backed him up. If that’s the kind of decision that they’re going to be making, Delaware County’s in big trouble. I think they’re going to be very lenient on crime. We’re in big trouble with people like that representing us.

SNOW JOB

Anyone see the forecast? Guess panic can set in any minute now. Say it ain’t snow.

ALL ABOUT TRUMP

Hello, this is Jack from Aston. I want to know why the Daily Times only puts things in Sound Off about Trump. I’m just reading Monday’s paper and there’s nothing in Sound Off. I read every single one of them and every one is something to do with Trump. When I call in, you don’t put nothing in. So, Daily Times, I’ve only been a subscriber for 50 years, but that’s all right, maybe 55 years and I served 15 years when I was a kid. But that’s OK, Daily Times. You have a good day and you put in everything about Trump because that’s what you wan to keep everybody with Trump and in front of us. That’s what you want to do. You put in your oped page that you’re not a Democrat, so you must be a Republican because you want Trump’s name in front of everybody’s face every day, Phil Heron. Thank you, and have a nice day. Put that in your paper.

PUTIN’S BOY

I’d like to Sound Off about the invitation that Vladimir Putin of Russia extended to our president milquetoast to attend a gala May day Parade in Russia. To which President Trump said, yes, I would love to come and help you celebrate May Day. In case anyone doesn’t know May Day is the ultimate holy day of Communism and everything it stands for. So go ahead, President Trump, go to Russia and help Vladimir Putin celebrate communism.

PHONE ZONE

What a weird age we live in. I live down here on South Avenue and I see the cars going up and down and most of the drivers are talking on their phones., not watching the road. Isn’t this amazing?

BOOTED

The sheer audacity of President Bonespurs to march in the New York City Veterans Day parade is shameful. No one in the Trump family has ever served in the military, including Fred, who was born in the Bronx, not Germany. This draft dodger’s rant is not fit to lick those veterans’ boots, let alone march with them. MONA FROM BOOTHWYN

BLAME THE PARENTS

I see down in texas a teacher punched out a student. Well, it’s no wonder. Some of these kids are out of hand and they have no respect for adults. They are out of control and I blame the parents for it all.

HAVE VS. HAVENOTS

Christine Flowers: I told you a long time ago you’re preaching to the choir, kiddo. It’s got nothing to do with a blue finger. Just have more Have Nots than you do Haves. School districts are bleeding people dry. And the politicians? Doesn’t matter blue, red, green or yellow. They don’t know any better. They just won’t stop. They think it’s a free ride. We’re on the merry-go-round.

GO BIRDS!

How ‘bout dem Cowboys! Even when the Eagles don’t play they win. Dallas lost to the Vikings Sunday night and are now tied with the Birds, who did not play. And we still have a game left with Dallas at the Linc.
