MEMPHIS, TENN. >> DJ Jeffries scored 18 points, Precious Achiuwa added 12 points and 11 rebounds and No. 22 Memphis used a rally midway through the second half to defeat Cincinnati

60-49 Thursday night. Lester Quinones added 13 points, seven coming in the final five minutes as the Tigers

(14-3, 3-1 American Athletic Conference) broke a six-game losing streak in the series with the Bearcats.

Jarrron Cumberland, the defending American Athletic Conference player of the year, led Cincinnati (10-7, 3-2) with 19 points, while Keith Williams scored 12, going 4 of 14 from the field, part of the Bearcats struggling to a

30 percent shooting night from the field.

Memphis had stretched a 3120 halftime lead to 15 points early in the second half, but the Bearcats crafted a 13-0 rally that pulled Cincinnati close. The run would eventually reach 18-2, giving Cincinnati a 38-37 lead on a

3-pointer by Cumberland with

12:37 left.

(4) CONNECTICU­T 59, UCF 52 >> Megan Walker scored 19 points and Crystal Dangerfiel­d sparked a big first-half rally, leading Connecticu­t (15-1, 6-0 AAC) to a win over Central Florida (9-6, 1-2).

It was only the second singledigi­t win for the Huskies since joining the AAC for the 2013-14 season. UConn is 126-0 in conference games, including tournament­s, since leaving the Big East.

Dangerfiel­d finished with 13 points, five assists and three steals, and Olivia Nelson-Odala had nine points and 12 rebounds.

3-pointers and finished with 27 points, leading Louisville (17-1,

6-0 ACC) over Boston College

(9-8, 2-4) for its ninth straight victory.

Yacine Diop, Jazmine Jones and Kylee Shook each added 12 points for the Cardinals. Jones added seven rebounds and seven assists.

(13) FLORIDA STATE 51 >> Elissa Cunane had 20 points and 10 rebounds to lead North Carolina State (16-1, 5-1 ACC) past Florida State (15-3, 4-3).

Freshman guard Jakia BrownTurne­r scored 11 of her 18 points before halftime for the Wolfpack. Kayla Jones and Aislinn Konig each scored 10 points.(

16 of her 24 points in the second half and Kentucky (15-2, 4-1 SEC) beat short-handed Texas A&M (14-3, 3-2).

Sabrina Haines added 15 points and Blair Green scored

13 points for Kentucky, which used an 11-0 fourth-quarter run for the first 20-point lead of the game. NORTHWESTE­RN 71, (15) INDIANA

Northweste­rn outscored Indiana (14-4, 4-2) 17-5 in the final

7:13 of regulation, including the last five points, and had the last six points in overtime.

(24) TENNESSEE 78, FLORIDA 50 >> Rennia Davis scored 18 points and Tennessee (14-3, 4-1 SEC) beat Florida (11-7, 2-3) for its third straight victory and sixth win in seven games.

Davis scored 14 points in 16 first-half minutes as Tennessee led 40-24.
