I wonder if you’re watching the joke that’s going on in the Senate chambers right now, and I only say that because we all know what the outcome is going to be. So it’s just another waste of money, right? We’re going through the motions. They’ve already said they’re going to acquit the president. So, you know, it’s a waste of money.

The new Upper Darby mayor is putting “we” into Upper Darby if you’re a Democrat. If you’re a Republican, you’re out of luck. She fired people, good people, from the previous administration and replaced them with her people. She appointed a Democrat to fill her atlarge position. She wants to remove names from parks and libraries. These names were prominent people in Upper Darby and Upper Darby played an historical part of Delaware County’s history. Watch out, she’ll change Upper Darby too.

To “Stand and Deliver:” You mention a letter in which a woman is encouraging people to register for the primary to vote straight Democrat. No. 1, people don’t register for the primary, they register to vote in all elections. No. 2, in the primary you can only vote for candidates of the party to which you’re registered. Even though the GAO report said that Trump broke the law by withholding the money from Ukraine, Trump says that he doesn’t believe that he broke the law. Well, of course he’s going to say that. He will never admit to breaking the law, just like when he said that the emoluments clause was phony. Trump never admits to doing anything wrong. He’s hoping that his supporters will believe him rather than believe the facts. They have proven so far to be so stupid that they would rather believe his lies than believe the actual truth.

Lev Parnas’ claims about the president and everybody in his administration are so phony it’s ridiculous. The Democrats are so desperate about their sham impeachment trial. This sounds exactly what they did with during Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation hearings. They really ought to be ashamed of themselves. God bless the USA.

How refreshing to see the LSU football team graciously attend the ceremony at the White House, unlike the Philadelphia Eagles refusing to go because all their political leanings. This is why they will never win another Super Bowl.

NEW DAY IN DELCO
I’d like to Sound Off about the front page of the Daily Times on Thursday, Jan. 16. This is really heartwarming to me. I’m in my seventh decade of life. And when was the last time Delaware County Council people and everyday people went to Harrisburg for a cause? I mean, this is like a breath of fresh air. I’m so glad that we turned the page and we’ve got a new start in 2020 here in Delco. Yes. God bless America.

I was having a friendly political debate with a colleague of mine yesterday and we got into a little bit of a heated discussion about the economy and Iraq. He wanted to tell how good Trump’s economy is and that unemployment is at a 50-year low and he has so much more money in his paycheck. Does anyone ever wonder what the deficit is? All I heard during the Obama years was that the deficit was going to be a plague on our children and our children’s children. But nobody cares about the deficit now. They’re adding a trillion dollars a year to the deficit. What happened to conservatism?
